The Body Shop – Mini Haul & Review

I have seen lots of blog posts and youtube videos around the new Spa of the World range at The Body Shop & I had to go and check it out.

In the posts I had read the packaging looks absolutely stunning & even though I have always been a fan of The Body Shop, their products and ethos, this new collection has taken it to the next level.

The new Spa of the World range completely encapsulates Self Care & allows us to have a spa experience at home, what more can I girl want?

Spar of the World – Hawaiian Kukui Cream – £7 or £25

Hawaiian women, exposed to the relentless sun for generations, have held the secret of kukui oil to nurture their skin. Bursting with luscious moisture, kukui oil helps restore skin’s natural suppleness, leaving it feeling nourished and soft. Use this skin cherishing cream as part of our blissful ritual when your body is in need of luxury.

The packaging is stunning, heavy glass tub with a massive lid – it feels different to The Body Shops normal packaging, it feels luxurious.

As I opened the lid, I closed my eyes and I was instantly taken to a white sandy beach, the sun high in the sky and Tom Hardy bringing me a coconut that he had just plucked from a tree and asking if I want a massage…. BLISS

Seriously, it smells absolutely incredible, like nothing I have smelt before. It isn’t oily or greasy. It just sinks into your skin.

Everyone needs this.

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask – £16 & Facial Mask Brush £8

Refine and revive your skin with our Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. Inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, this 100% vegan tingling clay mask is infused with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil. And it’s been formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. This invigorating charcoal face mask draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows. Complete your facial at home expert by applying this purifying blend with our Facial Mask Brush

Again, it is in this super luxurious heavy container and just looks and feels amazing.

I also purchased a Mask Brush as I had seen people using them… erm revolutionised my life… you don’t use too much product, it doesn’t get stuck under your nails… if you get anything, get a brush.

This mask is really like GlamGlow Youth Mud, same consistency, tingly feeling and left my skin with the same results but for a fraction of the price.

It is a thick mask & really tingles whilst on your face. If you don’t like the tingly feeling of a mask I don’t think this is for you, however, if like me you love that stingy, tightening, tingly feeling like it is really clearing your skin… you will love this!

Even Dan had a go…

We have both said that our skin feels plumper, glowy and clearer (well Dan didn’t use the words plump or glowy but you know).

This mask is great, just like GlamGlow and I love that mask!

Body Shop these new collections are amazing – well done!!

Have you used anything from the new collection? What do you think of the packaging?

A x
