Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation|Review

Foundation is so important, it’s in the name, the foundation to the rest of your Make Up. If you get wrong (we have all done it… hands up if you have been part of the orange, oily face gang) then it doesn’t matter what products, techniques, time spent on the rest of your look; because guess what, it is gonna to slide, flake or wear away…. so you need to get this right.

For the past year I have been using Estee Lauder Double Wear and I love it, it is a brilliant foundation. However, there are so many brands and different formulas out there that I would be foolish to only ever use that. Plus, your skin changes all time and something that may be right 3 years ago, it may not be now.

Around a month ago I saw Leilani’s (Macquillage with Leilani) Instagram Post showing her face before and after using Huda Beauty Faux Filter and her skin looked so flawless I had to try it.

This isn’t widely sold in the UK so I had to buy from the internet. Now I know what your thinking… how the hell did you know what shade to buy you crazy bitch? Well you lovely lot, Huda Beauty have a fab Colour Match, Shade Comparison Chart, you use the colour of Foundation you use or have used to figure out the shade you need.

I am the colour Cheesecake which matches me perfectly, however I do know this way to colour match might not suit everyone, so if you can go into a store then I would.

I brought from Cult Beauty @ £32

Review…

No Joke. This foundation is by far the best Foundation I have ever used. It is so matte, without being crumbly, lasts all day and covers every blemish, redness and dark patch. I cannot recommend it more. I know the price may be a bit steep, however you only need the smallest amount, as it really moves around your face and blends in beautifully. I also truly believe that if you are going to buy one expensive product then it is a must for your foundation, like I said if it is wrong then you will not get your desired look.

Let’s have a look at some pictures of this wonder product.

Without Make up. (Hideous)

Look at that pose. Put a bit of make up on me & I think I’m fuckin Jaclyn Hill. What a nob.

img_3569O here I am again with another classic pose. Insta babes eat your heart out. I am genuinely embarrassed. Who the bleedin’ eck do I think I am. FFS I’ve gone from Creepy Clive to Polly the Poser.

      1. You look gorgeous in the pics! YAAAASSS QUEEN!
I’m currently on the hunt for a new one so I think I’ll give it a go. Finding something that stays put in this weather is hard. Mine ends up everywhere but my face! X
