June Favourites

June was the best month – the sun was shining, it was my 30th 21st Birthday 😉 and I went back to the Homeland, Italia.

Here is what I was loving in the wonderful month of June.

Gabrielle Chanel Eau Da Parfum

This is the mot beautiful fragrance I have smelt for a while – beautiful, light and crisp. I will wear it all year round but it is perfect for summer. Walking through the streets of Sicilia leaving the scent of Chanel as I go, that is the one.

“It is a pure floral. A solar flower based on a bouquet of four white flowers, four points of light that mirrors the four corners of the bottle. A creamy and enveloping heart of exotic jasmine, shimmering with the fruity green notes of ylang-ylang. Fresh and sparkling orange blossom shines through, offering a glimpse of Grasse tuberose captured in its purest form.”

Fenty Beauty – Killawatt Freestyle Highlight in Trophy Wife

Now this is a Highlight – it is so pigmented it makes you GLOW. I think this highlight is a little too much for everyday wear, however in the Sicilian sunshine it was perfect. I was a golden princess & it made my tan look fierce.

“Light up where you want, when you want. Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter was born to reflect your every mood with its line-up of luminising solos and duos. With a dose of skin-glorifying colour, Killawatt ranges from subtle day glow to insanely supercharged, with shades that were designed for all skin tones.

Unlike your everyday highlighter, Killawatt keeps skin lit beyond sundown with its weightless long-wear formula – a cream-powder hybrid that instantly melts into skin and blends with almost zero effort. Another win, it’s loaded with superfine shimmer for an ultra smooth, creamy texture.

For killer radiance, Killawatt’s your go-to for highlighting your face, eyes, lips, collarbone… literally anywhere you crave a touch of light.”

OUAI Haricare – Leave in Conditioner

The sun in the UK is reeking absolute havoc on your hair, it dries it out, changes the colour and makes it look dull and quite frankly crap. My hair is crying out for moisture so I make sure I spray a leave in conditioner over my hair when I have got out the shower. Also, when I am on holiday I like to take a Leave in Conditioner and spray it on my hair before I sunbathe – just to give it a little bit of protection and moisture in the blistering sun.

I brought this OUAI spray in the US and it brilliant – it smells amazing, it is lightweight and gives my hair the moisture it is crying out for. You don’t need much just a few pumps spread over the hair.

“This leave-in conditioner hydrates, detangles, and smooths flyaways all while providing UV protection. Plus, each of the brand’s products come in an addictive hibiscus scent.”

Farsali Unicorn Essence

Another product I brought back from the US is this Farsali Primer – I kept seeing it everywhere on Instagram and I needed to try it. (there will be a USA Haul Soon because I brought ALOT). I add this into my foundation and mix it together, it makes me look dewy, highlighted and it keeps it from budging. Absoloutley love it.

“If unicorn tears existed – this is what they would look like. As magical as its mythical namesake, this innovative oil-free elixir is brimming with superfruits to solve a catalogue of common complexion concerns AND let you prime like you’ve never primed before. To say that this antioxidant-fuelled serum-primer hybrid took the internet by storm would be an understatement – it’s caused a veritable frenzy thanks to its unparalleled multi-tasking powers. Plus, it’s super, super pretty, which always helps…”

Charlotte Tilbury – Lip Cheat – Pillow Talk

This is not just my favourite for June but possibly for the year. It’s just the perfect colour for my lips. It makes them look big, full and beautiful. I actually only use this Lip Liner without the Pillow Talk lipstick, it is just perfect and I love it.

“Darlings, lip liner is my backstage secret weapon! My LIP CHEAT Lip Liner in PILLOW TALK is a rich, velvety formula that will help reshape and resize your lips for a perfect pout. Pillow Talk is a barely-there nude shade that will suit all types of skin tones.

• Perfect your lip shape and make your lipstick stay in place all day!

• Smoothes over texture for a seamless line, so you can resize and reshape for a fuller pout.

• Lasts up to 6 hours with no smudging.

• Waterproof formula means there is no feathering or transfer.

• Ideal for perfectly defined, colour-rich lips.

• Paraben-free”

Pandora Droplet Birthstone Ring – October

Like my other Birthstone ring from Pandora I haven’t actually got my own, this is October but look at the beautiful shade of pink. It just looks so good. As my December one is for my friend Jesus’, then this is for my witches, ghosts and gouls for Halloween.

“The month of October is represented by opalescent pink crystal on this beautiful sterling silver birthstone ring in the Droplets series. The crystal’s tender pink shade and iridescent colour convey an air of tenderness and caring, which is illuminated with the dome flower cut.”

MAC Fix+ Pinklite

MAC Fix+ is a staple for me – I love it and truly believe it works at keeping my Make Up in place. I haven’t used it so much recently because Make Up Revolution Setting Spray  does the same thing for £5. However, this Fix+ has a pearl shimmer in it, which once sprayed on makes your skin or make up GLOW. Perfect for the summer & holidays.

“Fan-favourite Fix+ is now infused with pearlescent particles for the ultimate glow. This formula still carries all the hydrating, soothing and refreshing benefits of the original version and improves the wear of makeup up to 12 hours, along with the addition of pearl for an ultra-illuminating effect on skin. Skin looks both healthy and radiant.”

My Fan

I think the most important favourite of this month (and probably the rest of the summer) is my fan. I love it. It is providing me with all the chilly feels in this sweaty summer. I mean I have sweated in areas that aren’t normal…. my eyelids are moist and I need a permanent towel under my boobs.  but with my lovely fan, my moustache is drier, the backs of my knees aren’t moist and I am loving life with my boo.

I wish Dan would look at me, how I gaze upon my fan.

Has anyone tried any of these products? Whats your experience with them? Or do you have any summer recommendations I need to know about?

A x

    1. Mate. It’s stressful. I am so clammy all the time. I actually feel like I need two fans – one up top, one down below – oscillating over all areas. It’s too much!
Ah Charlotte Tilbury is wonderful / her lip liner formula is just amazing!!xx
