For my Birthday I received some MAC vouchers and a bit of money to put towards some make up from MAC – so I went to my local store (I love that my Town has a MAC – good for my face not for my purse) and wanted to get some summery MAC products.
Fan-favourite Fix+ is now infused with pearlescent particles for the ultimate glow. This formula still carries all the hydrating, soothing and refreshing benefits of the original version and improves the wear of makeup up to 12 hours, along with the addition of pearl for an ultra-illuminating effect on skin. Skin looks both healthy and radiant.
I talked about this in my June Favourites so I don’t want to bang about it again but it is fab & I love the shimmer and fix it gives to my Make Up.
A liquid-powder highlighter that gives a luminous, well-defined finish.Extra Dimension Skinfinish adds the perfect glow to skin. The liquid-powder highlighter, with prismatic reflections, is designed to sculpt and highlight your face, leaving a luminous, well-defined finish. The creamy powder formula lasts up to ten hours.
This orange based Highlight is absolutely stunning – it is perfect for a summer glow. I don’t think I would wear it all year but when my skin has a healthy tan it looks beautiful. Perfect for olive skin on holiday and english summery nights.
A gloss in a wide colour range that can create a glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. A unique lip gloss available in a wide variety of colours that can create a high-gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. Designed to be worn on its own, over lip pencil or lipstick, it’s the perfect product for creating shine that lasts. It’s pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic colour. It contains jojoba oil to help soften and condition the lips.
I wanted a dusty rose pink gloss for summer, that isn’t to dissimilar to my Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Liner from Charlotte Tilbury and this matched it perfectly. I don’t usually use a gloss as I prefer a matte but this looks so pretty in the summer. It is a really high glass, that shines in the sun and looks subtle but effective. My only issue is that when the wind blows my hair gets stuck in it and I look very odd constantly trying to spit out my hair. Not attractive.
What are your favourite MAC products for the summer? Anything I need to try?
