Why I love to Travel|Top 10 Bucket List Destinations|Pt2

Hi Guys,

Welcome back to Part 2 of my Bucket List Destinations, check out Part One for an intro into why I love to travel and the first half of my list.

Sea Hut – Maldives πŸ‡²πŸ‡»

Can you imagine anything more magical than waking up, strolling out onto your little decking and being able to jump right into the beautiful, crystal clear, Indian Ocean? What about sitting out under the stars whilst eating the freshest sea food? Being able to lounge on a hammock over the sea whilst reading? Are you in a dream because I am.Β  The Maldives just feels like a dream to me and really saddens me that in our lifetime this beautiful piece of paradise will be completely lost into the Ocean. I need to go before this happens… I just need to win the lottery first.

Amsterdam – Netherlands πŸ‡³πŸ‡±

I don’t know why I haven’t been to Amsterdam yet, it isn’t that far away and isn’t expensive for me to get there so I need to do it in the near future. What interests me about Amsterdam isn’t what people (at least people I know) actually go for. I am not bothered about the Red Light District and I am not bothered about getting high but why I want to go there is because of the Art and the History. All of the museums, sitting out on the canal drinking coffee and people watching. I have always wanted to go and see the Anne Frank Museum, WW2 history really fascinates me and I have been to Krakow and Berlin specifically to see the WW2 history. It just looks like a beautiful and historically interesting city.

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort– Norway πŸ‡³πŸ‡΄

I mentioned Denmark in my previous post and I am just so interested in Scandinavia and also want to go to Norway. I would actually like to travel around all of Scandinavia and visit all the cities but I really want to stay in this resort. Dan & I absolutely love the night sky and Dan specifically loves astronomy, so even if we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights (as I know it isn’t guaranteed) the idea of a glass celling looking into the sky whilst we sleep is just incredible.

Road Trip from New Orleans, Memphis to Nashville. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

I would LOVE to do a road trip in the States, I know the famous one is Route 66, which don’t get me wrong I really do want to do but New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville are cities I have always wanted to go to. I am a huge music fan, I love Jazz, Blues and Country and I would love to be in the cities famous for this. I am a HUGE Johnny Cash fan and want to be in the place he loved and see his home. The South also fascinates me, the culture, food and architecture, it is just completely different from anywhere else in the world I have been. This is something I have always talked about doing with me Dad, so it will probably be a trip we do as a family at some point in the future.

British Columbia – Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

There is something very romantic to me about Canada & I want to travel to entire country (I would actually emigrate there if we could) but there is something about British Columbia that just looks like a fairytale to me. My Mum has travelled Canada and lived there for a while, actually almost went to live there when she was younger, and the way she speaks about it, with so much love it makes me want to be there. I would love to rent a little cabin in the woods on a lake and just be at peace, write my book and revel in the nature. The vast landscape of Canada is so incredibly amazing and I know it is somewhere I want to visit.

There are loads more places I want to visit but these are my top 10 – I hope you enjoyed reading them and if you have been to any of these places and have any ideas of things to do, see or eat then please let me know!Β

  1. I really enjoyed my trip to Amsterdam and yeah it wasn’t cause of the reason why some people go there πŸ˜€ I actually went to the Anne Frank museum, it was crowded so unfortunately I didn’t get the full experience as I wanted :/

  2. Ah! I’ve never heard of the Maldives Sea Huts– definitely looks & sounds like a dream. So sad that it’s predicted to go underwater soon!! 😭

Amsterdam is at the top of my list!! I’d love to see the Anne Frank museum but you know I need my weed & the Red Light District is so my scene… I need to see it all! πŸ˜„ New Orleans & Canada are def up there on my list, too. I hate road trips though!

    1. I know – it’s so sad that we will loose it. My sister in law is going on February and staying in a Sea Hut and I am so fuckin jealous I could cry.

Hahaha I know exactly why you wanna go, it’s a huge thing for us Europeans (especially us Brits) as weed isn’t legalised anywhere but there, so they love it. New Orleans just looks brilliant !!
Hahhaha I love a Road Trip!!! Xxx

      1. Ahh!! I’m jealous, too! I hope you’ll be able to go before we lose it all. ❀

That makes sense! There are only a few states in America that have it legalized & they've all started bringing in so much money from tourism! New Orleans looks like it has just the best food in the world, I must eat it all lol.

        I would probably enjoy a road trip more if I didn't have a pea-sized bladder!! πŸ˜›

      2. Me too!!

I bet it has, although I thought you could only buy weed on medical grounds in America? Or can anyone buy it now!? Oh my god doesn’t it just, there’s something about the South and their food I want it all – a big old bowl of Cajun crawfish pleaseeeee!

Hahaha get yourself a she wee πŸ˜‰

      3. In 9 states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington, it’s legalized for recreational purposes too so anyone who visits can buy some. πŸ˜€

YESYYESYES! All the Cajun, all the seafood! ❀ & oh gosh, I'm scared to ask but what in the heck is a she wee?!?

      4. Ah okay – I didn’t realise it was so many states now and that it was recreational! Even more of a reason to come to Vegas (other than seeing you) !

Hahahahahahaha please google it. Basically it is something girls take to festivals (me included) that we piss into in case we are camping ages away from a toilet. It’s like a little tube you hold over your piss hole that trickles down either on the floor (make you have a penis basically) or into a bag of beads that turns your wee into jello πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ or if you are ratchet like me you fuck off the penis thing and piss straight into the bag. Xx

      5. Yeah I won’t be surprised when all 50 states makes it legal recreationally! Like it’s safer than alcohol so it would only make sense that it happens soon. I would so so love to meet you!! Come on over!! ❀

Ahhh!! I just googled it! I would so skip the whole penis device & just pee into that bag. WOW!! I can't believe I had never heard of this. I will be honest with you; on the road trips I've been on, I've been extra ratchet & have just pee'd in a gallon jug with the top cut off. LOL this Shewee is new world & you're so right, I should totally buy one lol I might actually love a road trip!!

      6. Yeah absolutely, I’m so surprised it hasn’t been legalised here yet if I am honest. We are waiting for that day. Instead, we got to Amsterdam πŸ˜‚
I would love to come, I 100% will one day I promise!
Hahahaha I am laughing at the thought you looking at the contraption. Yes mate. I love my fellow ratchet. Just pee in the bag. SheWee and road trips all the wayyyy!xx

      7. I know it really is – how they can have alcohol legal and not weed blows my mind!
YAS – smoke, eat and watch loads of reality TV, use shewees so we don’t have to leave the sofa πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ ❀️
